Global support
As part of our international community, you will have access to our Global Student Support team who offer advice, organise events, and promote cultural and exchange activities. We also have a number of Global Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Leaders who can provide support as you settle in at UWE Bristol.
Orientation
We recommend that all new students take part in our Student Orientation session. Coinciding with your course induction, you will receive key information about the University, the city of Bristol, and life in the UK. It is also a great way to make friends and learn about social aspects of University life.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a great addition to your CV. It is also a good opportunity to meet new people whilst settling in to the UK, get out and about and have some fun, and help out in the local community.
Airport pickups
UWE Bristol offers all new international and EU students the option to use our free Red airport pickup service from London Heathrow Airport. We will meet you at the airport and take you to Frenchay Campus.
