We have three main campuses located only a few kilometres from Bristol’s bustling centre. Being on campus is a great way to meet students from other courses, countries and cultures.

Frenchay Campus

Our largest campus with lecture theatres, libraries, computer rooms, Centre for Sport, Centre for Performing Arts, The Students’ Union at UWE, Exhibition and Conference Centre, shops and bars.

We are able to accommodate over 3,000 students in our Student Village, Wallscourt Park and Carroll Court apartments and houses on site.

Glenside Campus

Set within leafy grounds, Glenside is an impressive former hospital complex and home to our Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health courses. It’s an inspirational setting, with excellent teaching facilities and among the best healthcare libraries in England.

City Campus

City Campus is the new name for UWE Bristol's creative and cultural industries campus and studio spaces in Bristol city centre. City Campus has four locations:

  • Bower Ashton Studios have outstanding specialist art, design and media facilities, plus our Students' Union, cafés, bars and shops.
  • Spike Island is a central gallery and working space for artists, designers and creative businesses. This is where our Fine Art courses are held.
  • Our Graphic Design, Drawing and Print, and Drama courses are housed above the Arnolfini gallery on Bristol's harbourside.
  • Watershed is the home to the Pervasive Media Studio, a collaborative reasearch space.
